- As black civil rights have been an issue for countries in the past century('s) there have been many problems when it comes to everyday equalaties.
- This was a particularly huge problem in the United States (especially in the 1960's).
- This lead to the formation of black pride which challenged these principles of segregation and showed how to be true to themselves.
- This was accomplished through this movement which lead rise to many different intermixes of culture. It encouraged people to take up their African heritage and this lead to many different styles, such as the Afro and is now mixed in with press to promote this values across the nation and the world.
- This therefore why the magazine pride was created in the first place.
