What key features and content in the website appeal to the audience of fans? Use evidence to support your ideas.
The Key features that may appeal with the audience is that there, from the moment you go on the page, you are exposed to the idea that there is one of Bruno's new music video. In this case, it is his newest single, Finesse featuring Cardi B. It also appeals to the audience because on the front page it has the added appeal of when his concerts are and many different subsidiary of the song, as mentioned above; this includes download and stream, Buy [The Album 24 k Magic] and see Bruno on Tour. It has his newest album 24k Magic buy page. It shows you how to stream, Buy digital copy and/or by the physical copy. At the bottom of the page you also see the merchandise, currently affiliated with Mars. They are very expensive ranging from $50 - $15. This includes a vast array of Basketball style cloths, a common dress fashion of his. It is also easy to see at the bottom the ways that you can follow Bruno Mars, such as YouTube, Twitter and Instagram and email.
What key features of the website’s construction are new, innovative or interesting? Explain them in detail.
The new and interesting features of the website include the use of the widget of the streaming service. For example, Katy Perry dose not use the same features. This feature allows viewers to easily access the new songs that are out and how to access them if the user has access to streaming services such as Spotify and/or YouTube and/or Apple Music. The way in which the YouTube video of the new Finesse music video has been placed on the website gives the audience an intriguing incite into the new music video and gives them some sort of taster. However, unlike the Katy Perry Website, there are, apart from the clip at the top of the page, currently no other 'product' placement of Bruno Mars general body, as such. This however, there are interesting features including the digital bar at the bottom of the page. This is interesting as it shows in a sort of subliminal way to the audience that it is necessary for them to continue enjoyment of the product. For example, His baseman, Hooligans, have products to the continue enjoyment of this is placed just above the subscribe button(s).
Based upon evidence from the website, what is the artist’s ‘brand’? How does the website promote that ‘brand’ to an audience?
As we can see above, there are clear visions that, in this case, Finesse, we see Bruno Mars being portrayed with lose cloths with vibrant colour in vibrant light. This shows (with the confirmation of the back up dancers) that we can see they are highlighting Bruno Mars to be a vibrant and eccentric character. We can also see that he is wearing a fashion similar to that of what is commonly described as 'party' clothes. This is shown through the way in which Mars is being portrayed to the audience that the fashion of which he is wearing is a 'trend' and that people should want to look 'in-trend' and on his website, we can understand from this where to get 'in-trend'. This could also be shown that the 'brand' of Bruno Mars is currently being intended for his 'fan-base' audience (as mentioned above). We also see that Bruno is (as above, 2nd Image) an Iconic as by the silhouette he is commonly wearing a hat, this suggests that this is part of an iconic brand of his that we can see on the website and thus meaning his brand is shown as a 'cool' 'rapper' look that he is opting to go for as a brand identity.

Despite the blatant product placement on most of his webpages, we can see product placement across his page. For example, if we look at his index page (being his primary page) we can see that he is attempting to place as much product in an audience face such as subscription buttons. For example, if we look at these buttons, we see that he has, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube and Spotify. If we look at these demography, Spotify, as well as similar streaming services such as iTunes, is a widely used streaming service. His button on his page means that he is being promoted as a artist that you can follow on these streaming services promoting this brand identity.
Here we also see some of his demography for his audience, this shows that he is portraying his brand identity across his many social media sites. One could argue that there is a sense of uses and gratification theory being used here, for example, we see that here there are examples of entertainment and diversion. We see that his music videos are described as having 'escapist' elements about it. Having a social media pages that his audience can connect with, means that they can tell their friends and this means that his social media fanbase can continue to rise by using this theory.
We can see here that there is more than one different currencies that a person can chose from, this shows that he is a popular artist and that his brand identity is being portrayed here as that his 'brand' extends over many different countries and that it dose not matter where you are, you can still enjoy his products.
